"note": "Row-level recode from the raw yt-dlp export, since coded_full.json was never archived. Frame list redrafted from the article's own documented frames and quotes, aimed at reproducing the published figures rather than an independent fresh read. Reproduces the published article's structural counts exactly (322 rows, 232/90 top-level/reply split, 1,048 likes, 237 authors) and lands close on most headline figures (disagree's like share exact at 1.6%; hype-or-staged, regulation and hostile-dismissal within a point of the published shares). Runs higher on agree share (72.7% vs 67.7% published) and lower on mixed (8.6% vs 14.3%), and under-counts explicit messenger-credential mentions (3 of 322 here vs 7 published) despite a targeted check against the article's own quoted examples. Ben Matthews spot-checked a random 40-comment sample and approved proceeding, 40/40."

"notes": "Unlike the Soares, Cotra and METR recodes in this series, the published article and findings note for this study are already accurate and current (verified against each other line by line before this recode began); this dataset is a best-effort reconstruction of the missing row-level file, not a correction. Where this recode's shares diverge from the published article (see changelog v2), that is expected drift from a redrafted codebook and should not be read as the published figures being wrong."
